📖 Google Drive Setup Guide

To connect Google Drive, you need a free Google API key:

  1. Go to console.cloud.google.com
  2. Create a new project (e.g. "Trade Journal")
  3. Enable the Google Drive API
  4. Go to Credentials → Create → OAuth 2.0 Client ID
  5. Set application type to Web application
  6. Add your file's URL as an authorised origin
  7. Copy the Client ID and paste it below

Your trades are saved to a private file called trade-journal-data.json in your Drive root.

💾 Data Management
Backup all data (JSON) Full backup — trades, weekly reviews, checklist & settings. Use this to move to another browser or save a copy to your Drive.
Restore backup (JSON) Import a previous JSON backup. Existing entries are kept; duplicates are skipped.
Export trades (CSV) Download a spreadsheet of your trade history (for analysis, not for restoring)
Import Tradovate CSV Import trades from Tradovate export — duplicates are skipped automatically
Clear all data Permanently delete all trades from local storage
